 The documentary film, "Voices In The Clouds" is a project in development since 1997. The idea for the film came from the article, Village In The Clouds, which was written for ORIENT Magazine in 1996. In the film, the audience will follow the personal story of a Taiwanese-American who is transformed by a life-altering experience after the death of his mother. The story follows his journey of transformation and introduces an amazing group of people he befriends along the way.
The main character, Tony Coolidge, discovers the indigenous culture and peoples of Taiwan, and the audience will share this discovery with him in a very personal and intimate way. There, he searches for his roots and finds completion with his "mother's spirit" and his past. The voices of the colorful indigenous people, once oppressed and silenced, now sing high above the clouds among the villages of his lost homeland. He is so deeply moved that he takes on his ultimate mission in life to ensure the voices of his people are heard throughout the world, with the hope that the voices will draw others to discover and get complete with their own spirits of the past.
During his journey, you will see the emergence of a man who becomes a leader for the indigenous world and is committed to leaving a legacy for his son to discover.

Tony Coolidge returns to Taiwan to meet amazing indigenous leaders to truly experience indigenous life and connect with the people who represent his heritage. Tony brings his brother, Steve Coolidge, to provide the gift of connection and belonging. Ultimately, Tony partners with leaders to create that life-altering opportunity for many others around the world.
